in the lower photo, looks like some kind of basin- is that a geologic formation? nice sense of distance in that photograph, a real sense of "open aire."
not sure, lassen is geologist's dream though. hope to have local photos up somewhere in ashland by september. need to give you a call in regards to printing - i love the print you showed me.
