*I left for Mt. McLoughlin after work and hustled hard during the entire ascent, hoping to reach the summit by sunset...and barely made it. The view was as awesome as I remembered - with much less snow to deal with. The wind was mellow and the light stuck around while I worked my way off the ridge.

thanks craig, sorry i missed you while you were up. many more adventures ahead - a camera with me always. some say photography takes people out of "the moment" but I think photography encourages people to look closer and explore further.
