Cabin in the Snow

    1. Thanks, I like this one too. I was hiking along the crest and noticed the cabin miles away. The light was just right and the smoke looked nice. I figured it was too far away to photograph but the large zoom, fog, and snow gave it a soft painterly appearance.

  2. sorry to be contrary but the cabin is rather featureless and in too much of a clearing for my liking. Although the snow and the swirling smoke certainly give it atmosphere. Hope you don't mind my occasional critique- I certainly invite it in my work!

    1. i disagree (but enjoy the discussion) the cabin is off center and gives the 'painting' a imaginary point of interest, feature-less to stimulate the viewers imaginatioin.
