Columbia River

The Columbia River is the largest river in the Pacific Northwest and flows through the heart of Portland.   40% of all wheat exported out of the US will eventually barge down the Columbia River.  It's the largest hydroelectric power producing river in the US.   There are currently 14 hydroelectric dams along the Columbia - each produces enough electricity every year to power five Seattles.

*I tried to use construction paper but it became a sticky mess - so I decided to just draw the darn thing.
