Weekday Morning Blues

Channel 13’s very attractive, very local weekday morning newscaster occasionally encourages viewers to “friend her” on Facebook.  I tried, two weeks ago, but she never accepted.  I no longer enjoy her phony morning smile and her stupid comments.  

Letter to My Reader

Dear Reader,

I apologize for my recent absence.  However, most blogs do experience occasional dry spells which inevitably end with a cliche'd apology and a list of excuses such as I no longer have the internet at home, my recent projects won't be unwrapped until Christmas Day, pressed fall leaves are difficult to scan into my computer, etc.  But I refuse to apologize or make excuses!  Instead, I'll resort to posting egocentric rants until Ol' Saint Nicholas finishes terrorizing chimneys and neglecting the naughty.  I hope you have the stomach for my verbage and I thank you for your patience.
